1994 beastie boys vintage ill communication era aloha mr. hand paper thin ringer band t-shirt

do i call them a grunge band? they kind of were at this time. do i call them a rap / hip hop band? they kind of were at this time. i don't know, dude. sabotage went too hard and spike jonze directed the video which rules. this vintage band tee is layers of old cool, beastie boys are self explanatory, but then this design is a shout out to fast times at ridgemont high and spicoli more specifically.
