back in, like, 2003 a (nerd) stoner friend of mine showed me this movie. I was blown away. tell your annoying  hunger games stan to shut up, beat takeshi and co. did it first. also, i had no idea it was the last film kinji fukasaku ever directed. iconic legacy confirmed. the same stoner friend of mine showed me ichi the killer, gozu, oldboy, audition, and hella weird japanese anime. forever grateful.
